ANTI-INFLAMMATORY FOODS

Inflammation is our body’s way of signaling to the immune system that we need to heal or repair damage in the body; whether that’s injury, infection, disease or foreign invaders like bacteria and viruses.

By adding in some of these foods into your everyday life, you can help protect your body against inflammation!
All of these foods contain antioxidants and polyphenols which are protective compounds.

If our bodies are in a constant state of inflammation, it wears on our immune system which can cause chronic disease.

Inflammation in the gut can also cause symptoms like: chronic constipation, fatigue, skin irritations (acne), heartburn, diarrhea and irregular periods.

Making sure we are adding anti-inflammatory foods into our diets is a great start to reducing inflammation!
